My future with the english

Hi people! The blog of today is about my experience with english, and I have a long story with this language. At the university specifically, I took english 3 the first semester of the 2014, and was a really confusing experience because the strike changes all the activities, and back to classes we had an other teacher and  cannot continue the normal process, therefore we complete the course with the final test. This year also has been strange, because we started late in comparition with the other courses, but it has been more continuos that the last year, and I have learned more things. The most important thing that I value in english 4 is the possibility of speak, my weakness with this language, because I stay in constant contact with the english but rarely I can talk. In other context, I took english classes in the Instituto Norteamericano the last year, and I approved that course, but I think that was basic and I cannot talk  much because my partner didn't know much of english, and this year I took lessons with an american teacher, but he did a lot of lessons in companies and the lessons was canceled.  As I said, my trouble with english is the speaking, and specifically the pronunciation, for that I have thought in take lessons again, and if is possible with a native teacher, because I have the idea of go to exchange to USA and I need take the TOEFL test, a very hard test, but nothing is sure, althoug nothing is impossible.

Changes in my study programme

I realize after two years studying psychology, what the things that expected were far away of the reality. A lot of the subjects of the first years are basic, and I think that when the people graduate at the end of the career forget all the contents, and finally it doesn't are very useful. Other problem that appears in the talks about the career, is the great number of theoretical courses that we have -practically all of them-, and that finish for depress the moods of the student in the daily life in the University, without an approach to the exercise of psychology. Also, there are classes with teachers that read powerpoints or books as a method to impart the class, demonstrate thus the poor preparation and dedication with the course and students, it causing that finally the students don't want to assist to classes. Futhermore, in psychology practice (specially in the clinical) I think is necessary that the professional has an emotional stability to talk with the people with several problems, and for that is essential that the psychologist has a well knowledge about him o herself, therefore I think that the programme needs to incorporate some activity, subject or other device to develop the self knowledge.

Summary, I think that the programme needs incorporate more practical activities, as a subject or into the time of the classes (3 hours of a theoretical preparation, with all the factors like the tiredness, the heat, the sleep, is crazy), changes some teachers, erase some subjects and motivate to develop the self knowledge in the students. 

My next holidays

The holidays is the part of the time that I expect with more anxious, and for that I usually start to prepare it with three months of anticipation, although depends of I want to do. But the next holidays I already have all done: in January I’m going one week to Petorca to volunteers work in rural health, also I’m going to the beach and finally in February, I´m going to Europe with my family (my dad and my two sisters). This last point I think is the most interesting, and I´m going to focusing in it. My dad has a girlfriend of Russia, and she now lives with her daughter in that country, so my dad decided go to Russia, specifically to San Petersburg –the place where they live-, city that is one of the more beautiful in the world. I don´t know a lot information of San Petersburg, but I want to learn more for thus enjoy more my stay. Furthermore, we have the intention of travel to Moscow, other beautiful city in Russia, but although I have listened that is not than pretty like San Petersburg. One of the aspects that we need to have is the clothes, because in that time of the year Russia is in winter and the temperature turn it very low –all the year is low, but more in that time-, therefore I’m already looking for warm clothes. The second country that we will visit is Spain,  a place very interesting for me because there are the two more important club of Football in the world, Real Madrid and Barcelona, and I hope visit one of their stadiums and take a pic. Well, Spain has a lot of more attractions, but to this glob I wanted write about these.

Taita Huentellao: a important myth of San Juan de la Costa

First, before to narrate my favorite myth, Im gonna tell what is San Juan de la Costa. Well, San Juan de la Costa is a commune situated next to the commune of Osorno, in the Region de Los Lagos, and it has the feature of be a lot of little towns that are next to the sea. This myth is told in Pucatrihue, one of these little towns. The myth talks about the "Grandad" Huentellao, who was an habitant of the Huilliche's community that lived -and yet live- in that zone, and that one day left his house to visit the sea, and never came back to home; his son, worried for his dad, went to the sea and saw to him sat on the sand with a blond hair woman, and asked to him why he didn't come back to home, and he answered that the sea was his new home, and right away walked toward a rock in the sea; more worried yet, the son followed to him to the rock and when he arrived "Taita Huentellao" said to his woman  that seek water to cooking, but past a time, she didn't get back, and the Grandad told to his son that she had to return to his home: the sea. After that time, nobody saw to Taita Huentellao again, and the myth say that the woman for thank that Huentellao decided lives in the sea, she garantized prosperity in sea food to the community of Pucatrihue, and until today, one time in the year, the Huilliche’s community go to the rock and do offers to Huentellao for thus have good fishing.

This myth you can see in Wikipedia, but is a little diferent of my version, because I told  you that I remember.

Post graduate studies: an election between musical and clinical area

I always have thought that after get my title, I'm gonna to make a postgraduate studies, like a master, post title or any type of studies. Today the expectatives of my future wished job are between the clinical and the musical area in psychology, and all depends of the close up that I can have with each of these areas. But independently whatever, both topics are of my interest; first the clinical area of the psychology was the reason to enter to study the degree, because I though -and think- that the talk that could be see in psychoterapy can be an important factor to the improvement of the people that assist to psychologist, and therefore an postgraduate studies could be help to better performance of the therapist. The second area, the musical, is of my speciall interest because, obviously, I like the music, but I know that I haven´t the talent for being a profesional musician, but for other side I think that my habilities could be use in therapy, specifically in the musictherapy, although this ain't an exclusive use of psychology, but I think that both areas, clinical and musical find an intersection point in this discipline. . Finally, I think that studying  abroad is a wealthy experience and I would like live that experience, but I not discard study in Chile, because there are here many universities with interest programs for study that can help to my professional formation.  

Pokemon: my favorite anime

A lot of people dont´t classify pokemon like an anime, they say that is more a “child serie”  and may be true because the argument of the anime is always the same and the main character doesn’t grow up, there isn’t a love stories, there isn’t an action,  among other things, but the true is that pokemon belong to the animes named “kodomos”, where certainly the story contains elements for children, but no for that leaves of being an anime, and in the last season, the things were a little diferents.  Pokemon X,Y and Z, the last season of the anime, included things never saw until now, as a girl in love of Ash Ketchum –the popular main character-, a new powerful pokemon of Ash, a new interesting rival, a legendary pokemon that traveled with Ash and his friends and the most important event until the moment of the anime:  Ash was fighting the final of the Kalos League, and obviously, was losing it. Personally, the most interesting fact of this season were the appearance of Greninja, the most powerful pokemon of Ash, who through an affective bond could be change his form and gain more power. Yesterday was issued the episode where Ash and his Greninja are separate, because this last one has a special hability to help to Kalos region for eliminate a negative force that affect it; this chapter really emotioned to me.  

Finally, I can say that pokemon is my favorite anime because I see it since I was a child, and I always enjoyed the stories and of course, the openings (songs of the beggining).  

The best concert of my life: Aerosmith

About two weeks ago, I went to the best concert ever: Aerosmith, the bad boys of Boston. I started to listen Aerosmith about three years ago, and specially this year I raised the number of songs in my repertory of the band, and I realized that are many songs very famous of them, and also a very good. I buyed the fan pack ticket in May, but first I didn't want that location, because was very expensive, but my dad gave me a gift and pay the difference between the ticket that I wanted and the real ticket.  The concert was the sunday october two and I arrived to the Movistar Arena at 6.30 pm, altough the concert was programmed at 8.00 pm. First was a chilean band named "We are the grand" and I recognized one of their songs, named "Al despertar". The minutes passed and more and more people get arrived to the Movistar Arena, and in one moment it did impossible get out of the multitude. Approximately at 8.05 pm started the concert, after a scream of Steven Tyler that asked are you ready Chile? and they sang "back in the saddle". The band sang a great repertory, like "I dont want miss a thing", "walk this way", "ragg doll", "crazy", "cryin", "jaded", "dude is like a lady", among others. They closed the concert with sweet emotion, other of their greatest hits, and now I gonna show my favourite song, "dream on".

I was to the right of Steven Tyler in this video (is not mine because the camera of my cell phone is very bad, and I recorded a video but is horrible), and was the best moment for me in the concert. I just can say that saw the last concert of the history of the band in Chile and I very happy for that.

                       

Post 3: Pets

Since I was a little boy, I always like the pets. The dogs specially have been my favourite animals, but my mom never like because she said that it are dirty and anoying, therefore my first pets were rabbits. I had a male rabbit first, and it name was Pandy, it liked eat grass and every kind of food, bread, carrots, lettuce, etc, but it speciall characteristic was that it dug holes in the garden and escaped to the street, it escaped approximatelly seven times, and the last I never see it again.

My second,  third and fourth pets were hamsters. The first hamster name was Nubi, but it end were sad: I was a naïve child and wanted to bathe it, and after of the bathed I didn’t dry it, and a week after it die. The second hamster name was Rufino, and it has a quite life and died of old age, the same history for my third hamster, James, that died  two years ago. 

                                                                                                

Finally, my last and actual pet is a dog, and it name is Kovu. I found it three years ago on the street
and my mom, although she doesn’t like the dogs, said that this  was the exception. It is a poodle, very playful and restless dog, and ultimetaly a very sick dog, because it was diagnostiqued with epilepsy and renal failure, but now it is in treatment and is great.          

                                                               

The Cradel of Philosophy

In the blog of today, I wanna talking about the country that i would like visit, and that country is Greece. I have been lucky of visit many countries like England, France, Italy, etc, but one of that I  lack is Greece, the cradel of philosophy. There are many philosopers that lived and made their reflexions and theorys in that country, philosophers like Aristóteles, Pitágoras, Zenón, Pármenides, Heráclito, among others, and would be excitant know they natal land. In Athens there are three places of my interest, the Acropolis Museum, the Partenenon and the Agora.  In the first place it can to find stone and bronze scultures from the arcaic times, aproximmately five hundreds years before Christ. The second place, the Partenon, is an important building of the history of Greece, because it was build in appreciation to the Gods after the victory of the Athenians over the Persians, and the third place, the Agora, is it more call my attention, because a lot of the philosophers went to the Agora to talk with the people, and one of the famous was Sócrates. 

I expect collect money and visit
Greece the earlier possible, and live an experience that could be happier the life!
